About the Role
GRAHAM is seeking Civil Engineers who are creative problem-solvers to join their team. This role involves transforming landscapes through innovative civil engineering solutions for bridges, highways, rivers, and railways, aiming to make a lasting impact across the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental and Quality requirements are adhered to.
- Undertake Surveying and setting out duties.
- Plan work and efficiently organize site operations to meet agreed program milestones.
- Liaise with consultants and sub-contractors as necessary.
- Resolve unforeseen technical challenges and other problems.
- Undertake the testing and calibration of instruments.
- Share improvements and innovation.
- Continuously learn and develop through the GRAHAM Academy.
Requirements
- Recognised Engineers Ireland / ICE accredited Civil Engineering Degree or Equivalent.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Strong IT skills.
- Right to work in UK and Ireland.
- Full Driving Licence.
- An appreciation of Health & Safety practices.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous work experience specifically in the Construction Industry.
- Able to demonstrate problem solving.
- Strong business acumen combined with creativity and vision to meet customer needs and GRAHAM business requirements.
- Ability to communicate and gain team commitment to a vision, motivate staff, and provide direction.
- Ability to adapt communication to audience and create detailed written documents and reports.
- Ability to maintain and manage communication links with a variety of stakeholders.
