About the Role
The Memory Field Applications Engineer (FAE) at Teradyne collaborates with leading semiconductor companies to develop test solutions, enabling faster and more accurate semiconductor production. This role is ideal for Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering graduates seeking to apply programming and problem-solving skills in a practical setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve test programs for semiconductors (Digital, Mixed-Signal, RF).
- Develop test software using programming languages such as C/C++ and Visual Basic.
- Analyze customer test environments and propose improved methods.
- Create solutions to ensure semiconductor test equipment (ATE) operates at peak performance.
- Build test environments by reviewing hardware schematics and PCB layouts.
- Collaborate with customers to resolve issues and enhance test quality.
- Validate cutting-edge semiconductor technologies and develop new testing techniques.
- Provide equipment training and technical support to customer engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to logically analyze and solve problems.
