About the Role
Keysight is a leader in electronic design, simulation, and test solutions, serving diverse markets with a focus on innovation and customer success. This role provides post-sales technical support for Keysight EDA products, assisting customers in maximizing product value and contributing to their design efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers using Keysight EDA products (e.g., ADS, EMPro).
- Respond promptly and accurately to customer technical inquiries, proposing optimal solutions.
- Conduct training sessions on Keysight EDA tools (e.g., ADS, SystemVue) to enhance customer utilization.
- Support pre-sales activities by providing technical assistance for solution proposals.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and Sales departments to resolve customer issues.
- Deliver support through multiple channels including web portal, email, phone, and onsite visits.
- Understand customer design flows.
- Understand communication systems and/or circuit design and the application of EDA software design tools.
- Understand industry trends and continuously acquire relevant technical knowledge.
- Transfer knowledge of EDA software usage and report activities to colleagues and customers professionally.
- Apply technical expertise to solve unique requirements using Keysight Tools.
- Demonstrate passion for customer success.
- Communicate effectively, exhibit self-motivation, and possess strong analytical skills.
- Understand and articulate the value proposition of services to customers.
- Identify new opportunities from customer issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Leverage technical expertise to sell additional services aligned with customer needs.
- Accurately qualify customer education needs.
- Contribute to business development through close collaboration with the Sales Organization.
Requirements
- Degree in electronics or physics, including RF/microwave and Digital knowledge.
- Typically 3 to 8 years of practical experience in System design, Digital or Circuit design.
- Significant knowledge of one or several Keysight EDA Tools (ADS).
- Significant background in non-Keysight EDA Tools like Sigrity, SIwave, HSPICE, HFSS environment.
- Good understanding of one or several of the following applications: High Speed Digital including Signal and Power Integrity, RFµW, Electromagnetic.
- Knowledge on Power Electronics is a nice to have expertise.
- Fluent in written and spoken Japanese.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with customers, Sales Organization and R&D.
- University degree or higher in electronics, physics, or a related field.
- 3 to 8 years of practical experience in PCB design, high-speed digital applications, or RF/MW circuit design is desirable.
- Experience with Keysight EDA tools (ADS) or similar third-party tools (Sigrity, SIwave, HSPICE, HFSS) is desirable.
- Expertise in high-speed digital technologies (e.g., USB, DDR, Ethernet) and electromagnetic field analysis is desirable.
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python) are desirable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for working with customers, sales, and development departments.
- Japanese language proficiency for smooth business operations.
- English communication skills (TOEIC > 650 desirable).
