About the Role
As a Qualified Engineer for Telecommunications and Mechanical/HVAC Construction, you will be responsible for the technical management of construction work related to telecommunications and piping (water supply, piping, etc.) to obtain and maintain construction business licenses. You will review the technical validity of estimates and construction plans for construction-related projects, ensuring compliance with laws, industry standards, and internal technical standards. You will support the appointment of chief and supervising engineers according to construction content and provide technical advice to sales departments and partner companies to promote the establishment of an appropriate construction execution system. You will contribute to the sustainable growth and business expansion of the construction business related to IT infrastructure construction in data centers.
Responsibilities
- Establish and continuously improve the technical personnel system necessary for maintaining construction business licenses.
- Evaluate and review the validity of construction plans, technical specifications, and construction methods for telecommunications construction (LAN, fiber optics, Wi-Fi, etc.) and piping construction (water supply, piping, etc.) construction and renovation projects.
- Create and review construction plans, work plans, and estimates, and provide technical support and advice on overall project schedule, quality, and cost management.
- Ensure compliance with construction laws, industry standards, and internal standards.
- Support the appointment of chief and supervising engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure the maintenance of an appropriate construction management system.
- Coordinate and manage partner companies and contractors, and support the response to project issues and risks.
- Promote the launch of new services and business areas, personnel development, and strengthening of organizational capabilities for the growth of the construction business.
Requirements
- Possession of a Class 1 Telecommunications Construction Work Supervisor or Class 1 Piping Work Supervisor license.
- Experience in construction management for telecommunications construction or piping construction.
- Practical experience in construction plans, schedule management, quality management, safety management, and cost management.
- Knowledge of construction project management and project management experience.
- Practical experience in contract management and subcontractor management.
- Knowledge of the Construction Industry Act and related technical standards.
- Ability to communicate in English through reading and writing.
