About the Role
This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on the floor rather than behind a desk. You'll be visible, guest-focused and ready to jump in wherever needed, whether that's crafting cocktails, supporting a busy service, coaching team members or leading an event.
Responsibilities
- Leading day-to-day bar and beverage operations across the venue
- Driving exceptional guest experiences and service standards
- Coaching, mentoring and developing Food & Beverage team members
- Supporting restaurant, bar, room service and conferencing operations
- Managing guest feedback and resolving issues with professionalism and care
- Assisting with rostering, labour management and team performance
- Maintaining beverage quality, presentation and service consistency
- Supporting stock control, ordering, inventory management and stocktakes
- Working closely with the Kitchen, Front Office and Sales teams to deliver seamless events and functions
- Contributing ideas to improve service, revenue and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience in a hotel bar, restaurant, venue or hospitality environment
- Strong beverage knowledge, including wine, spirits, cocktails and coffee
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- A hands-on leadership style and passion for guest service
- Sound commercial awareness and understanding of labour and stock controls
- Current RSA certification
- Food Safety Supervisor Certification or willingness to obtain
- Flexible availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Unrestricted Australian working rights with no sponsorship requirement
