About the Role
ECI has an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Engineer, responsible for implementing all aspects of ECI’s client’s technologies globally. This includes evaluating client technology needs, assisting with the development of configurations and standards, utilizing automation, validating and troubleshooting deployments, hardware/software installations and upgrades, new infrastructure build outs, and assisting with the creation of internal documentation and client-facing training materials. In this role, you will interface with high-profile financial industry clients daily, requiring the highest level of presentation, communication, and professionalism. The Technical Implementation Engineer will multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and can learn, document, standardize, and implement modern technologies quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Work on a team with talented engineers who enjoy collaborating to meet project objectives.
- Deploy on-premises infrastructure services, integrate with Microsoft Cloud Ecosystem solutions, and ECI’s Private Cloud base solutions.
- Independently drive project objectives to closure with minimal to no supervision while providing regular status updates to project manager and team.
- Collaborate with various groups in the organization to implement innovative technologies, upgrade, migrate, and retire outdated Infrastructure and solutions.
- Document processes, procedures, and lessons learned for iterative deployment process and automation improvement.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in existing or onboarding client’s project or preproduction environments, coordinating with internal resources and vendors.
- Engage in self-directed continuous improvement and learning of ECI and Industry products including Azure/O365/AWS certifications.
Requirements
- College diploma or University degree in Computer Science or equivalent field and/or related experience with a minimum of 10 years in a project engineering or similar role with a focus on deploying on-premises infrastructure solutions as well as cloud base solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of and experience in deploying and managing Microsoft Windows Servers, PowerShell, Azure Active Directory, AD sync, Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid, Exchange On-premises, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
- Experienced with MDM technologies, with a focus on Intune MDM/MAM.
- Experienced with building, retiring, and migrating Domain Controllers, DFS/R, DHCP, DNS, GPO’s.
- Exceptional written, oral communication, and documentation skills.
- Exceptional people skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with exacting attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of multitasking in a high pace environment, effectively and efficiently.
- Outstanding customer services skills and ability to demonstrate client sensitivity.
- Ability to work in an independent environment with moderate supervision.
- Ability to work under a moderate noise level, such as working on an open floor with printers, telephones, and computers.
- Ability to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
- Ability to be flexible and successfully respond to multiple work pressures.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.
