About the Role
Diamond Braces is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our growing organization. We offer competitive pay, modern orthodontic technology, and opportunities to develop clinical skills. Orthodontic experience is a plus, but we are happy to train qualified dental assistants with general dental experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during patient appointments
- Prepare treatment rooms and clinical instruments
- Perform sterilization and infection-control procedures
- Assist with braces, adjustments, retainers and other orthodontic treatments
- Take digital scans, photographs and X-rays when authorized
- Educate patients about oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Help keep patient appointments running smoothly
Requirements
- Dental assistant with experience
- Orthodontic experience preferred
- Dental assisting credentials where required by state law
- Reliable, professional and comfortable working with patients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dental office
- Some evening and Saturday availability
