About the Role

We are seeking a product leader with a builder's mindset, strong opinions on great developer products, and a passion for working closely with engineers. This role involves leading Bruno's product direction, collaborating with founders and engineering leadership, and developing a team of Product Managers. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable engaging directly with developers, and adept at balancing the needs of open-source communities, individual developers, and enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy and roadmap, defining product direction and scope.
  • Set a high standard for product quality, developer experience, usability, simplicity, and craftsmanship.
  • Lead and develop the Product Management team, including coaching and improving product thinking.
  • Engage regularly with users to understand workflows and identify problems.
  • Partner with Engineering to address technical trade-offs, architecture, feasibility, and scope.
  • Translate ambiguity into clear product decisions, specifications, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
  • Balance long-term product strategy with consistent execution and delivery.
  • Utilize product analytics, customer feedback, market understanding, and judgment for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on customer needs, product-led growth, and pricing.
  • Work with founders to challenge assumptions, align priorities, and foster a strong product culture.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in developer tools, infrastructure, or technical platforms.
  • Strong technical depth in APIs, Git, networking, developer workflows, and system architecture.
  • Exceptional product judgment with a strong instinct for simplicity and developer experience.
  • A builder's mindset, comfortable with prototyping, experimenting, and hands-on product work.
  • Proven track record of launching meaningful products from concept to completion with measurable results.
  • Deep developer empathy and a genuine understanding of developer workflows.
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to decline non-essential ideas.
  • Excellent written communication skills for clarifying ambiguous problems.
  • Opinionated yet low-ego, willing to challenge ideas and adapt based on evidence.
  • Experience leading and mentoring Product Managers, enhancing product thinking quality.
  • Comfortable working closely with founders in a fast-paced startup environment.
