About the Role
Join Flow Traders, a leading proprietary trading firm, as an HR & Recruitment Coordinator in New York. This role supports both HR and Recruitment functions, offering a unique opportunity within an entrepreneurial and innovative culture. The position requires exceptional organizational skills, efficient time management, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the employee lifecycle including onboarding, transfers, offboarding, and related documentation
- Maintain up to date records in our HRIS system and applicant tracking system (Greenhouse)
- Manage Learning & Development program administration
- Prepare monthly reports and fulfill any ad-hoc reporting requests
- Manage recruitment logistics, including posting job openings, coordinating interview schedules, and maintaining timely communication with candidates throughout the interview process
- Plan and represent Flow Traders at campus recruitment events, such as career fairs, information sessions, and competitions
- Develop and execute campus marketing initiatives to strengthen Flow Traders’ employment brand through university partnerships
- Assist the team with daily operations and ad-hoc employee requests
- Contribute to team projects, process improvements, and data-driven analyses
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Recruitment coordination
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite tools: Office, Word, PowerPoint and particularly Excel (e.g. Vlookup, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with Greenhouse or other applicant tracking systems and HRIS, a plus
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, candidates, hiring teams, and external partners
- Ability to adapt and handle simultaneous moving parts with a sense of urgency in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and pride in delivering high-quality work
- Highly organized, structured and meticulous with an exceptionally high attention to detail
- Strong prioritization and time-management skills
- Ability to take initiative and effectively use existing resources to work independently
- Self-motivated and possesses a strong desire to succeed
- Ability and willingness to travel for campus recruitment events, as needed
