About the Role
You will be a core builder of the Financial Cloud developer platform, implementing CI/CD pipelines, GitOps automation, artifact management, dependency graph engine, and change impact analysis tooling. This role involves working directly with the Platform Architect to translate architecture blueprints into production systems used by hundreds of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Build module-level CI/CD pipelines with reproducible build enforcement.
- Implement build provenance automation, including SLSA attestation generation and artifact signing.
- Develop the dependency graph database to ingest static and runtime dependencies.
- Build change impact analysis tools to compute affected modules, sites, and tests.
- Implement the GitOps deployment engine using ArgoCD/Flux for automated reconciliation and promotion.
- Build site provisioning tooling for scaffolding new site configurations.
- Develop the version management console for module version status and upgrades.
- Implement the security patch force-push pipeline for automated PR creation.
- Build the four-layer test orchestrator for automated test selection and parallel execution.
Requirements
- 6+ years in backend, platform, infrastructure, or developer tools engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Go (primary) or Java/Kotlin, with scripting in Python.
- Production experience with CI/CD pipeline development (GitHub Actions, Tekton, Jenkins, or custom orchestrators).
- Hands-on experience with GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Flux, Kustomize) at scale.
- Experience with Kubernetes, including operators, custom controllers, CRDs, and Helm chart development.
- Solid understanding of container registries and artifact management (Harbor, ECR, Artifactory).
- Experience with build systems (Bazel, Gradle, or equivalent) focusing on reproducible builds and optimization.
- Background in dependency analysis tooling or graph databases (Neo4j, Dgraph, or custom implementations).
- Preferred: Experience at AWS or GCP in relevant services.
- Preferred: Background at Stripe, Adyen, or Square in developer platform teams.
- Preferred: Experience building internal developer platforms (IDP) or platform-as-a-service.
- Preferred: Familiarity with supply chain security tooling (Sigstore, in-toto, SBOM generation).
