About the Role
Join Air Canada's IT team as a Product Owner within the SAP Reporting & Analytics team. You will promote agile ways of working, drive operational excellence in key SAP tools, and build strong relationships with business partners. This role is crucial for delivering timely insights, supporting modernization efforts, and ensuring the successful delivery of reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice, support, and quality assurance on key SAP Reporting & Analytics objects.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify digital solutions.
- Drive initiatives to increase adoption and foster continuous improvement.
- Translate business processes into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support the Product Manager in executing the SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) roadmap.
- Identify opportunities to modernize the reporting and planning landscape.
- Take ownership of the product backlog, ensuring clear definition and prioritization.
- Manage and prioritize backlog items, enhancements, incidents, and service requests.
- Collaborate with AMS partner, implementation partner, and vendors to resolve production issues.
- Monitor and improve data quality across reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with governance teams to build and maintain trusted data assets, ensuring data security, access management, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Analytics, Finance or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SAP analytics, reporting, or data platforms (SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, or SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Experience in data & analytics including data integration, data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and reporting solutions.
- Skilled product ownership experience (business analysis, digital product delivery, solution lead, or consulting).
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
- Experience working with Agile development teams and managing product backlogs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Prior to start date, candidates must provide proof of eligibility to work.
