About the Role
Shuttle Drivers are needed for part-time work in Albany or Schenectady, covering evening shifts from 1pm-9pm.
Responsibilities
- Greeting patrons politely and assisting them.
- Safely shuttling customers to various destinations.
- Opening and closing doors for patrons.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and signs for safe shuttle operation.
- Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers via radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants.
- Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal and company safety requirements.
- Recording passenger counts and trip times.
- Completing necessary paperwork for daily operations.
- Assisting in equipment setup and breakdown (e.g., signs, cones).
- Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness.
- Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management.
- Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations.
Requirements
- Must be over 20 years old.
- Customer service experience is a must.
- A valid NY Class C or higher CDL with passenger endorsement is required.
- A valid medical card is required.
- Background checks and driving tests will be conducted.
