About the Role

Nuance Labs is seeking a Performance Marketer to build repeatable acquisition channels and drive product usage. This role involves establishing the acquisition playbook through rapid experimentation, owning campaign measurement, and optimizing conversions. You will report to the Chief Growth Officer and collaborate with product, engineering, and Developer Relations teams. This is a hands-on individual contributor position focused on identifying and validating acquisition channels, improving conversion rates, and establishing a measurement foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day campaign execution and budget pacing for prioritized channels.
  • Build a weekly testing cadence and recommend adjustments to spend.
  • Test paid search, paid social, retargeting, and relevant sponsorships.
  • Scale spend based on evidence of channel performance and audience fit.
  • Design experiments across audiences, messaging, creative, landing pages, and calls to action.
  • Set clear hypotheses and success criteria for experiments.
  • Translate performance data into specific creative improvements in collaboration with the Chief Growth Officer and creative collaborators.
  • Partner with engineering and product to establish reliable tracking, attribution, and dashboards.
  • Analyze acquisition cohorts and funnel drop-offs to identify effective user sources.
  • Improve conversion and activation through onboarding and lifecycle experiments.
  • Report clearly on spend, cost per activated user or qualified lead, conversion, and retention by source.
  • Connect acquisition decisions to revenue and unit economics as monetization develops.

Requirements

  • A track record of personally running acquisition campaigns and improving measurable business or product outcomes.
  • Depth in at least one paid channel, with the ability to explain budget, contribution, results, and tradeoffs.
  • Evidence of independent execution.
  • Strong analytical skills, with comfort in spreadsheets, analytics tools, and cohort data.
  • Sound experimental judgment, understanding attribution limitations and sample sizes.
  • Hands-on ability to launch campaigns, write copy, brief creative, and improve landing pages.
  • Good creative instincts and curiosity about user behavior.
  • Budget discipline and clear prioritization skills.
  • Experience taking an acquisition idea from concept to live campaign with established measurement.
  • Scrappiness to launch useful tests with limited resources, creating copy, assets, and landing pages as needed.
  • Independence to propose plans, prioritize work, and resolve blockers with minimal daily direction.
  • Clear communication of learnings and proactive requests for help on decisions requiring broader input.
