About the Role
DoorDash is seeking Senior iOS Engineers to build an app used by millions and critical to local entrepreneurs. This role involves improving processes and architecture, scaling mobile infrastructure, and building product features. The position is hybrid and reports to an Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities
- Work within engineering teams to build exciting features
- Improve code base through continuous refactoring
- Solve challenging real-time data transfer and synchronization problems
- Extend and implement APIs
- Implement unit tests
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards of iOS development
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience
- B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Expert at Swift, and iOS SDK
- Familiarity with networking, storage, and Cocoapods
- Systems and OOP knowledge
- Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps
