About the Role
Destination Nissan of Albany is seeking an experienced and motivated Body Shop Estimator to join their team. The Estimator facilitates a smooth process for body shop customers by estimating jobs, working closely with insurance carriers, and handling administrative duties for the Body Shop.
Responsibilities
- Write accurate and timely estimates for collision repairs.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers/adjusters.
- Communicate with customers and insurance companies to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with our team of technicians to ensure high-quality repair.
- Maintains an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest repair methods and technologies.
- Prepares final billing for completed repair orders.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience writing estimates in a body shop.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Valid New York state adjusters /appraiser license.
