About the Role
This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of service departments by providing timely parts and supplies to technicians, managing orders, maintaining inventory, and resolving part-related issues. You will be a key player in keeping operations running efficiently and customers satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Provide parts and supplies to technicians to ensure productivity.
- Process and track special orders and ensure correct billing.
- Maintain an organized inventory and recommend stocking levels.
- Troubleshoot part delays, backorders, and discrepancies.
- Assist with internal and external parts-related inquiries.
Requirements
- Fast-paced, service-minded attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Solid communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (inventory and POS systems).
- Prior experience in parts or automotive service is a plus.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs and move around the shop as needed.
