About the Role
Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor for the Austin, TX area. This hands-on role involves managing a service team to ensure property upkeep, inventory, and repairs, while also performing maintenance duties. The role is crucial for maximizing rents and maintaining high occupancy through professional maintenance practices and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate service team activities for property upkeep, inventory, and repairs.
- Perform maintenance duties including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, structural, and appliance repairs.
- Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
- Participate in an emergency on-call rotation.
- Utilize business software for work order management, scheduling, supply ordering, and email communication.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of trade-related experience.
- At least 1 year of hands-on apartment maintenance lead, assistant, or supervisory experience.
- Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
- EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification (Type I and II or Universal) required.
- Willingness to share on-call duties with other team members.
- Valid driver's license, transportation, and tools required.
- Must pass a DMV and background/criminal check.
