About the Role
Outpost is seeking a driven Investment Analyst to support nationwide growth by assisting with sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution for IOS and truck-terminal portfolios. This role reports directly to the Managing Director of Acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Support the real estate team in sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and investor communications.
- Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis on potential acquisitions.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, partners, attorneys, brokers, and lenders.
- Prepare investment memos and reports for senior management and investors.
- Generate, aggregate, and synthesize market information from third-party and first-party research for asset management and growth.
- Complete timely and accurate analysis of real estate documents such as contracts, financial statements, leases, and loans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or related field.
- 1+ years of real estate acquisitions experience.
- Strong financial modeling skills (Excel required; Argus beneficial).
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Highly organized, fast-moving, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic, high-velocity environment.
