Responsibilities
- Set up and configure CNC lathes, milling machines, or machining centers.
- Run new and existing CNC programs.
- Select and measure necessary tools.
- Perform tool changes and make corrective adjustments.
- Monitor and optimize production processes.
- Conduct first-part inspections and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements and drawing specifications based on work and inspection plans.
- Troubleshoot issues and support root cause analysis.
- Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks according to the maintenance plan.
- Document production and quality data.
- Support continuous improvement processes (CIP).
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training, e.g., as a cutting machine operator (m/f/d) or similar.
- Several years of experience in setting up CNC machines is desirable.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings.
- Knowledge in the use of measuring and testing equipment.
- Quality-conscious and independent work style.
- Teamwork skills and willingness to work shifts.
- Experience with INDEX lathes and milling centers is desirable.
- Programming skills are desirable.
