About the Role

This client-facing role is responsible for managing production Charles River IMS systems for multiple clients as part of the Charles River Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings, including application management for hosted and non-hosted clients.

Responsibilities

Provide expert remote management, administration, and support for client production Charles River IMS solutions.
Assist clients with optimal system usage.
Manage user administration and privileges.
Implement parameter configuration changes.
Ensure system availability.
Perform application and database performance tuning.
Monitor and support daily operational processing.
Apply Charles River IMS and database software patches.
Execute Charles River IMS version upgrades.
Provide assistance with problem support and resolution.
Offer Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery assistance.
Collaborate with Charles River colleagues to transition new clients to production.
Partner with vendors to deliver a seamless service to Charles River clients.
Participate in the development, refinement, and enhancement of services.
Participate in the investigation and implementation of 3rd party tools to improve service delivery.
Provide periodic out-of-hours support and/or weekend work.
Perform occasional travel to customer sites for planning and review meetings.

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years' relevant industry experience.
Proven ability to partner with various internal departments to deliver superior customer service.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
