About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manages hourly team members and interacts with guests in a friendly, professional, and responsive manner.
- Executes opening, mid, and closing duties daily following standard procedures and recipe guidelines.
- Handles guest concerns and guides them toward a positive resolution.
- Manages cash handling, POS drawers, comps, voids, and deposits.
- Presents as a leader, motivating others to follow procedures, work with urgency, and ensure a positive guest experience.
- De-escalates issues between team members, ensuring everyone feels heard.
- Supports management with the inventory process.
- Prioritizes food safety by performing line checks, checking storage, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Manages the daily prep list and ensures adherence to specifications.
- Maintains a safe environment for team members and guests by enforcing safety protocols.
- Communicates and delivers a friendly, welcoming, exceptional guest experience.
- Embraces feedback, is eager to learn, and takes accountability for actions.
- Operates proficiently in a fast-paced environment and manages time effectively.
- Is comfortable in all restaurant areas, including culinary, hospitality, and guest interaction.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader/Supervisor in a restaurant environment.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Regularly exposed to heat and/or humid conditions.
- Requires constant multitasking in a fluctuating, fast-paced work environment during peak hours.
- Potential allergen exposure to wheat, nuts, gluten, soy, and milk products.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Occasional kneeling required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with compassion, composure, and professionalism.
- Possesses a Food Handler's Certification.
- Possesses an Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification and complies with all regulations.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
- Must possess dexterity to handle kitchen equipment.
