About the Role
Responsible for building and maintaining off-premise product displays, ensuring product rotation and appearance. Works under the supervision of Field Supervisor and Sales Personnel.
Responsibilities
- Greets storeowner or manager for specific merchandising instructions.
- Signs-in at accounts where required.
- Displays merchandise that meets customer's needs, emphasizing selling points.
- Places new merchandise on display.
- Organizes shelves and displays to promote first-in, first-out product rotation.
- Organizes customers' back rooms.
- Takes inventory of stock and reports low volume and out-of-stock situations.
- Assists with resets as needed.
- Works as a team with delivery drivers and sales representatives to provide excellent customer service.
- Communicates daily with Sales Representatives to address issues.
- Maintains current and themed P.O.S. to ensure maximum account coverage.
- Adheres to all standards in the sales manual, including product rotation, maintaining POS, organizing inventory, and facing off coolers.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Must have access to a motor vehicle with the capacity to transport POS during all working hours.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read labels and comprehend various coding systems.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle, or feel.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to talk or hear.
- Ability to occasionally climb or balance.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 250 pounds.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to frequently work in a refrigerated atmosphere.
