About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, people-loving, sales-savvy Assistant Spa Manager to join our South Austin team. This role involves leading with confidence, bringing positive energy, celebrating wins, tackling challenges, and creating an amazing experience for guests and the team.
Responsibilities
- Coach, motivate, mentor, and celebrate team successes while ensuring accountability.
- Manage daily spa operations, including scheduling, inventory, payroll, and reporting.
- Drive sales of memberships, packages, and retail products.
- Enhance guest experiences by welcoming, assisting, and booking appointments.
- Collaborate with the Spa Manager on problem-solving and achieving spa goals.
- Foster a positive and supportive team environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and results.
Requirements
- Experience in retail management, sales, or hospitality leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
- Enthusiasm for achieving sales goals.
- Organizational skills to manage details in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively and have fun.
- Skill in providing feedback and conducting difficult conversations.
- Comfort with technology, scheduling systems, and administrative tasks.
- Interest in massage, skincare, and the health and wellness industry.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience selling memberships or using appointment-booking software is a plus.
- Ability to lead by example, take ownership, and understand team success dynamics.
