About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Labor Management Relations Associate with 2 to 6 years of experience for our West Coast offices. You’ll be a member of our consistently ranked and nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice group. As an associate in the Labor & Employment Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.
- Litigation of unfair labor practice charges or grievances in labor arbitration.
- Advising on labor law matters.
- Researching labor law issues.
- Participating in or advising on collective bargaining.
- Case law research.
- Brief and motion drafting.
Requirements
- 2-6 years of traditional labor law experience.
- Employment law background and basic familiarity a plus.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Solid work ethic.
- Stellar analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Experience and understanding of federal rules (trial or appellate) and NLRB rules a plus.
- Admission to the California or Bars or the ability to waive in.
