About the Role
Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking talented, dedicated, and quality-focused teammates to provide top-tier service to customers. This role involves performing all-purpose duties, including assisting customers with technical knowledge, handling inbound and outbound calls for the Autel scanning unit, answering technical questions related to scanning procedures, and researching/resolving vehicle technology issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform all-purpose duties as assigned.
- Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
- Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
- Answer technical questions relating to the scanning procedures of the Autel unit.
- Conduct research to understand, explain, and resolve technology issues on the vehicle.
Requirements
- 2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostic technician required.
- Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background checks.
- Minimum age requirement of 21+ years.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
Skills
- Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
Experience Level
- 2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostic technician
Education Level
- I-CAR certifications preferred
- ASE certifications preferred
Salary/Compensations
- Up to $34.00 per flag hour
