About the Role
An opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a friendly, down-to-earth, family-run independent garage in Beckenham. We believe in good people, quality workmanship, and doing right by the customer, offering a relaxed working atmosphere where you can utilize your technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine servicing and vehicle maintenance.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Completing repairs across a range of vehicle makes and models.
- Using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to identify problems.
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and road tests where required.
- Identifying additional work and communicating findings clearly.
- Completing work efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
- Keeping work area clean, organised, and safe.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic.
- Strong practical mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to carry out repairs independently.
- Methodical approach to fault-finding and problem-solving.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, positive, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work well independently and alongside colleagues.
