About the Role
As a Data Scientist, you'll work directly with clients and internal delivery teams to build and deploy AI-powered solutions. You will own projects end-to-end, from scoping problems and prototyping AI workflows to deploying scalable data science solutions. This hybrid role combines data science with technical consulting, ideal for those who want to be hands-on with data science and see the impact of their work.
Responsibilities
- Partner with delivery leaders to scope, develop, and deploy end-to-end statistical and ML solutions to operational problems.
- Analyze customer problems to identify optimizations and develop stable, scalable solutions.
- Translate real-world constraints, such as inconsistent data and latency requirements, into elegant solutions.
- Iterate quickly based on real-time feedback from operators and clients.
- Build reusable tooling and infrastructure to accelerate future model development and deployment.
Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in data science, through professional roles, internships, or coursework/research projects.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling end-to-end.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in fast-moving, unstructured environments.
- Willingness to be on-call for customers when situations arise.
