About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and curious Leasing Manager with a passion for sales, marketing, and leasing to lead our student housing community. The ideal candidate will have a track record of building strong teams and a proactive approach to problem-solving, aiming to exceed leasing and occupancy targets.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist prospective residents, qualify needs, and conduct property tours to close leases.
Utilize professional leasing techniques to meet preleasing and occupancy goals.
Answer incoming phone calls professionally, assisting prospective residents, current residents, and internal team members.
Process and verify lease applications, ensuring timely communication of results.
Maintain accurate client records and update daily activity reports.
Provide concierge-level service to residents by assisting with day-to-day tasks.
Plan and execute resident events that align with the property's brand and commitment to community.
Lead and coach Leasing & Marketing Assistants (LMAs) on effective sales and leasing strategies.
Collaborate with the social media intern to ensure cohesive messaging and engagement.
Collaborate on marketing initiatives to support occupancy and retention goals.
Ensure the tour route is always pristine, appealing, and on-brand.
Contribute to team efforts to streamline processes and achieve success.
Participate in training programs to refine skills and stay aligned with company best practices.
Maintain regular communication with leadership to overcome roadblocks, share updates, and strategize for leasing success.
Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.
Be available to work evenings and weekends.

Requirements

2-3 years of sales and customer service experience.
Exceptional communication skills—warm, professional, and approachable.
Basic computer skills: typing and writing ability for correspondence, memos, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Can-do attitude; willing to work outside your job description.
