About the Role

Responsibilities
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Assist guests with menu inquiries in an informative and helpful manner.
- Possess full knowledge of all beverage lists.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Efficiently pick up orders from the kitchen.
- Verify the quality and accuracy of outgoing orders.
- Have complete knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
- Adhere to outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow daily assigned employee shift side work.
- Double-check every order before delivery.
- Double-check all VIP orders with the Manager on Duty.
- Immediately communicate all special guest needs to the Manager on Duty.
- Pace all In Room Dining order distribution and deliveries according to standards.
- Monitor order/food pick-up/tray assembly/delivery times.
- Compile trip report logs.
- Assist with amenity delivery.
- Coordinate the removal of In Room Dining equipment from guest rooms and public areas, sorting and storing condiments and equipment.
- Inspect hotel hallways/landings for Room Service equipment.
- Maintain departmental requisitioned supplies, ensuring they are properly stored and organized.
- Follow hotel cleanliness guidelines.
- Uphold uniform and grooming standards.
Requirements
- Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Flexibility and availability to work varying shifts, as the In Room Dining Department operates 24/7.
- High School Diploma required.
- Previous Food and Beverage experience in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality setting required.
