About the Role
The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for the movement of merchandise through the warehouse, maintaining broad knowledge of warehouse functions including inventory control, shipping, receiving, warehousing, and returns. Communication with the Service Department is critical to ensure technicians have correct parts for work orders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cycle counts and adjust parts into the Parts Inventory computer system.
- Pull parts orders from inventory and prepare them for shipping to customers or other Anderson branch locations.
- Process returns, evaluate condition, and adjust inventory.
- Communicate with the Service Department to ensure technicians have correct parts for work orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work experience in a warehouse at heavy equipment, auto, or parts dealerships.
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory controls, documentation, filling orders, and shipping.
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.
- Must be able to bend, stand, reach, lift, and carry items in the warehouse.
- Focus on safety protocols must be maintained at all times.
