About the Role

The AVP of Product Management, Private Markets is responsible for cross-cutting platform capabilities serving multiple private markets asset classes. This individual owns loan product areas spanning data infrastructure, fund analytics, cross-asset reporting, workflow automation, and emerging capabilities like AI-assisted due diligence. The role operates at the intersection of loan processing, investment operations, technology, and business strategy, ideal for a product manager thriving in a fast-moving, high-complexity environment. The successful candidate will integrate data from loan management platforms, identify integration opportunities, and translate complex operational requirements into scalable client solutions, balancing stakeholder needs with a focus on data and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the roadmap for horizontal platform capabilities supporting private markets loan asset classes.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of relevant third-party loan platforms and data structures, including WSO.
  • Assess how loan data can be consumed and utilized within CRPM, identifying opportunities for bi-directional connectivity.
  • Work hands-on with data to validate mappings, identify gaps and exceptions, and translate business and data concepts into requirements.
  • Define and drive the CRPM loan data model and taxonomy, ensuring consistency across workflows, analytics, and reporting.
  • Identify high-friction and manual loan-processing activities and develop opportunities for automation.
  • Drive the development of cross-asset portfolio analytics.
  • Work with clients to define standard client analytics and dashboard requirements.
  • Partner across teams to validate use cases, prioritize opportunities, and deliver solutions.
  • Define and own strategic approach to integrations with third-party loan servicing and data providers.
  • Lead agile product delivery, maintaining a prioritized backlog and working with engineering teams.
  • Define product success measures and appropriate reporting to track adoption, data quality, operational efficiency, and business impact.
  • Document target-state integration architecture, key data flows, priority use cases, product requirements, and recommended roadmap.
  • Support the Head of Product and wider Product leadership in strategic planning, OKR development, roadmap prioritization, and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with loan products within financial services, fintech, or enterprise software, with meaningful exposure to private markets or asset management.
  • Solid understanding of private markets operations across multiple loan asset classes, including fund structures, capital deployment workflows, valuation processes, and investor reporting cycles.
  • Demonstrated experience owning platform-level or infrastructure product workstreams with technical complexity, with a keen focus on direct loans, syndicated loads, CLOs and various MBS types.
  • Familiarity with data architecture concepts: data modeling, ETL pipelines, API design, and event-driven systems.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies; strong proficiency with product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Productboard, or similar).
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously and drive results in a cross-functional environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience building or scaling Loan product solutions — particularly in capturing, processing, and monitoring from a technical and business perspective.
  • Familiarity with private markets technology stack and leading asset and loan management vendor solutions (WSO, Versana, Siepe, etc).
  • Exposure to loan administration workflows, including capital calls, distributions, NAV calculations, waterfall modeling and transaction upkeep.
  • Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and financial data quality frameworks.
