About the Role
You will own the Insurance Distribution squad, building the platform brokers use to sell and manage Stoïk’s cyber insurance. This involves the entire product lifecycle, from user research to delivery, with a focus on rigor and speed due to the regulated nature of the product and its impact on policy wordings, carrier requirements, and local insurance law across multiple languages.
Responsibilities
- Turn insurance and legal requirements into precise, testable specifications validated by Legal and Insurance.
- Collaborate with the Lead Software Engineer on scalable solutions for pricing rules, policy document generation, wording versioning, and renewal automation.
- Own the product side of wording releases in every market and language, ensuring accuracy and carrier approval.
- Manage delivery timelines by planning and executing weekly sprints.
- Balance operational tasks (bugs, requests) with new development, maintaining realistic commitments.
- Serve as the product counterpart to Country Managers, arbitrating market requests and communicating vision, progress, trade-offs, and risks.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Product Manager, preferably in a fast-growing startup or scale-up.
- Experience in insurance, insurtech, fintech, or another regulated B2B product is advantageous.
- Comfortable reading contracts and working with legal teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with senior profiles.
- Ability to stay updated with AI capabilities and adapt work methods.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Working proficiency in German is a strong advantage.
