About the Role
Sports Direct is seeking passionate, driven, and experienced retail leaders for current and future Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager opportunities across NSW. This role involves leading from the front, inspiring and coaching teams, driving commercial performance, and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales, smash KPIs and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Lead, inspire and empower high-performing teams through coaching, training and development.
- Monitor store, team and individual performance – celebrating wins and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Take ownership of store operations, including wage management, rostering and stock control.
- Bring energy and attention to detail to visual merchandising, stock management and loss prevention.
- Create a positive, inclusive and performance-driven store culture.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment, ideally within big box or high-volume retail.
- Strong commercial acumen – you know your sales figures, wage percentages and stock metrics.
- A genuine passion for developing people and building successful teams.
- Excellent operational skills across rostering, visual merchandising and loss prevention.
- A hands-on leadership style and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- A true 'Make It Happen' mindset – you're solutions-focused, ambitious and ready for a challenge!
