About the Role
To manage and control the maintenance and repair of M&E equipment across multiple blue-chip contracts within the Mobile Portfolio of Smart. Ensuring appropriate and correct operation of assets and that records are maintained in line with Operational, Regulatory and Statutory practice. Deliver a Smart and world class service, have full confidence of the client and team and be a leader of innovation.
Responsibilities
- Commercial and financial accountability across the contract/account.
- Lead a diverse team across multiple skill sets within engineering services.
- Monitor and control PPM and reactive statistics through Elogbooks System and produce reports.
- Produce monthly reports and ensure minutes of meetings are collated with actions closed out.
- Produce energy reports for the customer.
- Oversee statutory certification is received and available to the customer on request.
- Manage team in accordance with SMS Procedures and Policies, including their general well-being and H & S.
- Ensure Smart Managed Solutions staffing levels for contract, balancing cost reduction with service excellence.
- Ensure structures support peaks and troughs in workload, and disaster recovery.
Requirements
- Must have recognized industry qualification in Electrical (BS7671 18th Edition), Electrical (C&G2391 Inspection and Testing), or C&G Mechanical & HVAC.
- Knowledge of current technical standards in relation to Fire Alarm Systems, Generators, Electrical Services, HV & AC and Water Systems Treatment is ideal.
- Knowledge of business-critical services i.e. UPS and MGPS etc. is ideal.
- Full understanding of Statutory Compliance.
- IOSH or NEBOSH preferred.
