About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative with Ocado Logistics, you’ll play a vital role in preparing customer orders in our state-of-the-art fulfilment centre in Erith. With day and night shifts available across a variety of departments, you can select the shift that best suits you. You’ll receive your work pattern 6 to 13 weeks in advance, giving you plenty of time to plan with family and friends. Night-shift colleagues will also receive an enhanced premium for hours worked between midnight and 06:00.
Responsibilities
- Receive goods from suppliers and place them into totes ready for our robots and picking teams.
- Ensure stock is available and ready for customer orders.
- Pick and pack customer orders into shopping totes with care and accuracy.
- Load customer totes into delivery frames ready for dispatch.
- Organise returned totes from delivery routes.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or over.
- Must be able to handle meat and alcohol.
- Must be able to travel to and from the site reliably for scheduled shifts.
- Must be able to understand and follow Health & Safety briefings and operational instructions.

Salary/Compensations
- Basic rate: £12.93 per hour
- Night-shift premium between midnight and 06:00: an additional £2.67 per hour
- Overtime paid at 1.25x the basic rate
