About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Business Consultant to join our EAM consulting team. In this responsible position, you will be primarily responsible for leading Enterprise Architecture projects from conception to successful implementation for clients. Business development is also central to your role: you will independently manage and process bids and tenders from the initial inquiry to the final pitch, lead consulting teams in projects, and sustainably expand our client relationships.

Responsibilities

Consulting clients in the EAM field
Conducting comprehensive analyses of the corporate architecture and identifying optimization potential
Supporting and implementing strategic EA plans to support clients' business goals
Advising clients on the selection and implementation of modern architecture tools and technologies
Staying up-to-date with technological developments in the EA field
Identifying new business opportunities and potential clients in the field of Enterprise Architecture Management
Developing and implementing strategic measures for acquiring new clients
Conducting needs analyses and creating customized solution approaches for potential clients
Structured management and independent preparation of bids (RfI, RfP) for consulting and project requests
Content and formal processing of public tenders (including analysis of tender documents, bidder inquiries, qualification proofs, and service descriptions)
Calculating project budgets, efforts, and price matrices in coordination with management
Preparing and conducting convincing client presentations, pitches, and negotiations
Leading EAM consulting projects from conception to successful implementation
Coordinating and managing consulting teams to ensure excellent services
Monitoring project goals, budget, and timelines, and reporting regularly to management
Maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships to build long-term partnerships
Identifying opportunities to expand the service portfolio for existing clients
Ensuring client satisfaction and proactively resolving issues

Requirements

Proven experience of at least 3 years in consulting in the field of Enterprise Architecture or comparable corporate governance topics
Experience in independently preparing bids for consulting services and ideally practical experience in the context of public tenders (Public Sector / formal award procedures)
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, convincing bid documents and client pitches
Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
German language skills with at least C1 certificate (fluent)
Very good English language skills, both written and spoken
Experience with EAM frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, BIZBOK
Experience with EAM tools such as HOPEX, LeanIX, BizzDesign, planningIT, ServiceNow
Experience with process, architecture, or data modeling (BPMN, UML, ER modeling)
Sound expertise in corporate processes, organizational structures, and IT or Enterprise Architecture
Experience in project management and leading consulting teams
Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and a professional demeanor
Team-oriented approach and the ability to motivate and lead employees
Conceptual skills, analytical thinking, enthusiasm, meticulous work, and creativity
The flexibility and mobility required in daily consulting work
