About the Role
As a Senior Manager within our Public Services team, you will lead critical work for discerning and highly AI literate customers in the UK Government and for international partners. This fast-paced and demanding role requires program delivery mastery and creative thinking about AI's role in core public services.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of multiple, complex programs of work for Public Services clients, including strategy, R&D, and product builds.
- Oversee a portfolio of projects across multiple facets of Public Services, including the Home Office and Department for Education.
- Develop and own compelling proposals to grow the Public Sector portfolio.
- Mentor and develop team members, aligning their responsibilities with critically important Public Services work.
- Work strategically to deliver meaningful outcomes for public sector organizations.
- Form strong, trusted relationships with senior government customers and collaborate with other consulting partners.
- Advise clients on AI strategy and technical implementation, engaging confidently in technical discussions with directors.
- Support wider business efforts as a Senior Manager to ensure maximum strategic flexibility and commercial impact.
Requirements
- Experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in managing complex, large-scale transformation programs.
- Proven experience in the Public Services space, potentially from Government, academia, or industry roles.
- Track record of shipping GDS-style digital products and successfully delivering AI-enabled services in Government.
- Demonstrable interest and understanding of AI and ML concepts and creative application for Public Sector challenges.
- Technical acumen to engage confidently with directors on engineering concepts and AI applications.
- Understanding of the commercial consulting delivery model, focusing on account growth and project oversight.
- Flexibility to support broader Senior Manager work and embrace an entrepreneurial approach to a highly visible portfolio.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous settings and demonstrate a structured approach to problem-solving and delivering high-quality, high-stakes projects.
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) and willing to work on-site with clients from time to time.
