About the Role
As a Senior in Auditing, you will strengthen trust in financial reporting by examining annual and consolidated financial statements, utilizing digital auditing methods, and advising clients on complex accounting issues. You will work in international, interdisciplinary teams and contribute to EY's goal of creating sustainable value and growth.
Responsibilities
- Examine annual and consolidated financial statements according to HGB, IFRS, or US-GAAP within international, interdisciplinary teams.
- Lead audit projects, providing technical guidance and developing team members.
- Advise clients on accounting and valuation matters and participate in project-specific special audits.
- Utilize and actively develop the digital, globally consistent auditing approach.
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration or a comparable field with a focus on accounting, auditing, or controlling.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in auditing or accounting.
- Very good knowledge of national and international accounting standards.
- Proficient communication skills in German and English at a minimum C1 level.
