About the Role

Participate in technical requirements capturing with customers, design, estimation, engineering, configuration, testing, and commissioning of Control & Monitoring System applications, A-SMGCS, ATM, VDGS, Induction Loop Sensors, and other related technologies in airport projects/products. Work in a collaborative, customer-exposed environment to maintain high operational availability of the network and ensure the availability and security of Honeywell Airport technology applications and data.

Responsibilities

Build requirements gathering and specification to design and prepare system and software solution proposals in line with strategies and best practices.
Provide Advanced Engineering & Application Management Support for the day-to-day operation of AGLCMS & Level 4 Advanced Surface Movement & Guidance Control System.
Partner with the HAB R&D team and GES in defining project requirements and engage with ICAO, FAA, EASA, IEC, and other standards bodies as Honeywell representative to contribute to specifications and standards.
Partner with HAB Sales & Business Consultants & Regional Sales Support Center; engage Airport clients, consulting and design companies to effectively position Honeywell AGL Power Supply/Control Systems & Services and lead specific strategic pursuits.
Establish & Manage onsite Software Configuration Management System.
Deliver growth and productivity to meet OI targets.
Reduce cycle time by increasing productivity and ensure 100% utilization of Engineering Resources.
Prepare Method of Statements for activities required for Installation, Testing, and Commissioning.
Prepare standard operating procedures of Airfield Ground Lighting System, Control monitoring system, A-SMGCS, ATM, VDGS, Induction Loop Sensors for installation works.
Build quality plan for Installation, Testing, and Commissioning.
Be responsible for Checklist, testing & commissioning plans.
Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and warranty & post-warranty maintenance of air traffic control systems.
Instruct site acceptance plan and related documents.
Conduct validation and acceptance on airport premises.
Act as a mentor by training and briefing airport personnel.
Handle quality assurance aspects including review of Quality Plans, site quality assurance, factory & site acceptance testing, final inspections & snag rectification, quality documentation, and handover/technical transfer of systems.
Lead field work and all quality assurance office tasks meeting company & client requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor or Diploma Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, Electronics or equivalent.
Solid work experience on installation, testing, and commissioning of AGLCMS systems.
Experience working within the Airports / Air-side Solutions market.
Strong knowledge of AGL & CMS, operations, and planning skills.
Hands-on experience in designing topology, implementing, and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
Experience in Requirements/Systems Engineering.
Customer facing experience, driven to build strong working relationships.
Experience in preparation of technical and material submittals.
Experience in preparation of Method of Statements for activities required to carry out Installation, Testing and Commissioning.
Experienced in preparing checklists, testing & commissioning plans.
Experience with relevant airport safety regulations.
Excellent team and communication skills (verbal and written), negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
