About the Role

The Set Team plans, builds, and maintains physical environments called "Sets" where robots collect data. As Set Team Coordinator, you will plan and deliver every set remodel from requirements to ready, working with researchers, environment designers, and build, move, and prop teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate research requirements into a weekly build plan.
• Set the priority order when remodels compete for the crew.
• Decide which props and environment items (and substitutes) meet each requirement.
• Source and purchase props and environment items.
• Direct contractor build, move, and set work day to day.
• Coordinate across the environment, move, and prop teams.
• Check that each set is complete and meets spec.
• Sign off on sets before they are handed off for data collection.
• Step in on staging and ad hoc builds when needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years in set building, production design, event or retail installs, or facilities.
• Experience planning work across several teams on tight timelines.
• Purchasing experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Sound judgment when requirements change week to week.
• Comfort on your feet.
• Willingness to be hands-on when needed.
