About the Role
We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to build and enhance modern, scalable data platforms that empower analytics, insights, and better business outcomes across the enterprise. You will contribute to large-scale data solutions using modern data engineering technologies, working across data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform performance.
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and support cloud-based data platforms, pipelines, and data warehouse solutions.
- Transform complex source data into trusted, high-quality assets that support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making.
- Develop and improve automated data processing, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure solutions using modern data engineering tools and practices.
- Partner with business, analytics, and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
- Contribute to platform performance, security, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting scalable data platforms, pipelines, and data processing solutions.
- Strong Python and/or Java development skills, with experience building scalable data solutions.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, batch and streaming data processing, along with modern DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in Australia.
- Applicants must undertake police and basic credit checks as a condition of employment.
