About the Role
Longhorn Village is seeking a Hostess with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to courteously and professionally serve residents and guests cocktails, wines, and drinks in the dining room and bar. This role involves maintaining bar inventory, ensuring a neat work area, and securing liquor supplies. The Hostess will also seat residents and guests, assist servers, and communicate any concerns to the Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Serve cocktails, wines, and drinks to residents and guests in the dining room and bar.
- Maintain inventory of all bar supplies.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Secure all liquor inventory and supplies.
- Complete order guides to ensure par levels are sufficient and submit requests for orders.
- Seat all residents and their guests in the dining room.
- Be knowledgeable of menu and offerings.
- Assist servers with servicing, bussing, and cleaning tables.
- Assist with training and ensure proper service is given to residents and guests.
- Alert Supervisor of any concerns or problems pertaining to residents and their guests.
- Cooperate and coordinate work activities with co-workers.
- Follow all outlined policies and procedures for the dining services department.
- Maintain work area and keep the department in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and follow written and verbal directions.
- Must be 19 years of age or older to serve alcohol.
