About the Role
HUD is seeking a Technical Writer to create compelling content that highlights customer and partner achievements, product advancements, and research. This role involves translating complex technical information into clear, engaging narratives for AI engineers, researchers, and technical leaders, ensuring they understand HUD's value proposition.
Responsibilities
- Write technically accurate content across various formats, including case studies, technical articles, product explainers, launch materials, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal experts to gather information and develop compelling stories with concrete evidence.
- Develop a deep understanding of HUD's platform and marketplace to effectively explain product, research, and customer workflows.
- Assist founders and the team in communicating product vision, technical insights, and platform successes in HUD's brand voice.
- Propose new content ideas and formats, manage the editorial process from draft to publication, and use reader engagement data to refine content strategy.
Requirements
- A portfolio showcasing technical depth, clear explanations, and strong storytelling, including at least one piece of technical writing.
- Sufficient technical fluency to engage in meaningful discussions with AI engineers, researchers, and technical customers.
- Strong research and interviewing skills to transform technical conversations and materials into coherent narratives.
- Excellent editorial judgment regarding content relevance, structure, and the effective use of supporting elements like diagrams and examples.
- Ability to manage projects from ambiguous briefs to polished drafts, incorporate technical feedback, and handle multiple content pieces concurrently.
- Genuine enthusiasm for frontier AI models and communicating HUD's mission.
- Familiarity with RL, evals, benchmarks, or post-training data.
- Experience publishing case studies or technical content for AI/ML products, developer tools, or infrastructure companies.
- A history of writing engaging social content or ghostwriting for technical founders.
- Hands-on experience with technical products, code, or demos, and thoughtful use of AI tools for research and writing.

- Singapore: $100,000 - $120,000
