About the Role
This Sales Consultant position supports, services, and maintains accounts. Candidates are responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts.
Responsibilities
- Travels around assigned territory to service accounts
- Checks quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, and in-stock status to service accounts
- Fills shelves from displays and back stock to minimize out-of-stock items
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers
- Communicates with Sales Representatives regarding changes in buyer’s preferences, out-of-stock inventory, shelf space oversight, and any concerns/situations encountered during business hours
- Builds and develops trust and a strong working relationship with the retailer by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a “can-do” attitude
- Performs other work-related tasks and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Work experience in the liquor industry (e.g., bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience) is a plus
- Goal and results oriented
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize work
- Competitive, self-motivated, and customer service oriented
- Professional written and oral communication skills are a must
- Must have reliable transportation with valid insurance
- Must have a good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50-pound cases, sometimes repeatedly
- Local candidates preferred (no relocation package)
