About the Role
Lead the AI transformation for Capital on Tap's Product and Engineering teams, setting AI strategy, leading an AI Enablement team, and integrating AI into the software development lifecycle to triple product delivery capabilities within 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Baseline current software development speed and quality within the first 30 days.
- Develop and implement a 12-month plan to triple software development output.
- Redesign the software delivery lifecycle to incorporate agentic AI from specification to release.
- Lead decisions on AI developer tooling, model access, AI gateway, and evaluation.
- Partner with InfoSec, Data Protection, Risk, and Compliance to establish operational guardrails.
- Lead the AI Enablement team to transform software development practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading an AI-driven transformation in software product and engineering organizations with measurable results.
- Deep, hands-on experience with agentic coding tools and LLM-based workflows.
- Experience building platforms and systems with strong opinions on AI tool application.
- Experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams on strong technical foundations.
- Commercial judgment, including understanding of cost, ROI, and customer outcomes.
- Experience in a regulated environment designing controls that enable rather than block.
