About the Role
Clearwater at The Arboretum is a premier luxury senior living community in Austin, TX, seeking full-time Caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining their dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular safety checks on residents.
- Assist and encourage residents in their daily living activities, responding promptly and kindly.
- Read and follow care plans, including managing oxygen tanks and concentrators per physician orders.
- Transport residents, assisting with transfers and escorting them to meals, activities, or other transportation needs.
- Perform cleaning, laundry, and other community activities and job duties as required.
- Chart and document resident information, including incident reports, and communicate any changes in condition to a supervisor.
- Respond promptly to resident alerts and emergency requests.
- Comply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
- Display a positive and professional image, maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Represent Clearwater Living principles and core values daily.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Active Certified Assisted Living Caregiver Certification.
- First Aid and CPR/BLS Certification.
- Background clearances as required by government regulations.
