About the Role
AI is central to Board Intelligence's offerings, with boards and senior leaders depending on its AI for critical decisions. We seek a Software Engineer to join our AI team, focusing initially on building our AI evaluation suite to measure and enhance AI output quality. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to AI-powered products and requires a strong full-stack engineer comfortable with ambiguity and independent work.
Responsibilities
- Design and build our AI evaluation suite to measure and improve AI output quality.
- Develop across the full stack, including data pipelines, backend services, and front-end tools.
- Collaborate with prompt engineers and subject matter experts to translate their knowledge into tests, metrics, and tooling.
- Help define AI quality measurement practices in an evolving field.
- Automate evaluation processes and results within the SDLC for confident product releases.
- Contribute to the development of AI-powered products over time.
Requirements
- Upper mid-level to senior professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building AI-powered products or tooling.
- Full-stack experience across front-end and back-end.
- Comfort working independently and in ambiguity, setting your own direction.
- Experience collaborating with non-engineers and translating their expertise into software.
- Strong focus on quality, testing, and attention to detail.
- Experience using AI coding tools in daily work.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
