About the Role
We are seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Biochemistry to join our client’s team in North London. This is a full-time, ongoing position working night shifts only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Responsibilities
- Perform biochemical analyses including routine chemistry, endocrinology, and toxicology using automated platforms.
- Ensure accurate results and maintain quality standards.
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Biochemistry within a clinical laboratory
- Experience with automated chemistry analysers such as Abbott Alinity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
