About the Role
Villa Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Starbucks at John F. Kennedy International Airport. This role requires a hands-on leader focused on team development, guest service, and smooth operations in a busy airport environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager with daily operations while maintaining Starbucks beverage, food, and service standards.
- Lead shifts and keep the team organized during peak travel periods.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and employee coaching.
- Monitor inventory, ordering, cash handling, and labor to support business goals.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally.
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and airport security requirements.
- Create a positive workplace where team members feel supported and understand expectations.
- Oversee store operations in the General Manager’s absence.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a coffee shop, restaurant, or high-volume food service setting.
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to meet airport badging and security requirements.
