About the Role
Deliver high-impact prescriptive models and quantitative solutions to improve pharmaceutical trading decisions.
Responsibilities
- Own the implementation and continuous improvement of prescriptive models driving inventory and procurement decisions.
- Formulate complex business challenges into quantitative problems and explain solutions to traders.
- Collaborate with product, data, engineering, and business teams to create production-ready decision-support tools.
- Extend optimization and decision science capabilities with new approaches and into new domains.
- Advance the Data, Analytics & AI roadmap by owning internal technical initiatives.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of applied experience as a Data Scientist or machine learning practitioner.
- Practical experience in advanced quantitative methods (machine learning, mathematical modelling, optimization, simulation, operations research).
- Hands-on experience across the data science model lifecycle (development, deployment, maintenance, continuous improvement).
- Experience integrating predictive/prescriptive analytics into operational tools or workflows.
- Expertise in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn), SQL, git, and Docker.
- Strong analytics translation and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative team-player mindset with effective communication skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
